Donaire Becomes Peoples Champion In Quest To Destroy Mares

This past weekend, sports betting boxing fans were outraged, after Abner Mares defeated Joseph Agbeko after a controversial decision by referee Russell Mora. As a result of Mora’s decision the dirtiest fighter in the bantamweight division, Abner Mares, will be the mandatory challenger to bantamweight fan favorite and world champion Nonito Donaire. Here is a preview of the upcoming fight scheduled for October at the earliest.

NFL betting lines enthusiasts were confused this past Saturday, as Abner Mares, was allowed to low blow Joseph Agbeko on several different occasions during their unification bout for a variety of bantamweight titles. Mares, barrage on Agbeko’s lower region throughout the fight, was argued by referee Russell Mora and Abner Mares considered to be on the belt line. However, everyone and their uncle clearly saw, Mares hit Agbeko low.

Meaning to say, when Abner Mares gets into the ring with current WBC and WBO Bantamweight Champion Nonito Donaire, fans and media alike are hoping that referee Russell Mora is not the referee for that title fight. Donaire, a fan favorite, has been the golden boy of the bantamweight division for the last couple of years.

With his potential fight against Mares coming up in short order, fans will get to see their golden boy take on the latest most controversial fighter. This fight has all the ability to be a fight of the year and knockout of the year candidate, as everyone wants to see Donaire give Mares a beat down.

While the prospect of a Donaire vs. Mares title fight would be great for the sport, the real fight that may happen is a rematch between Mares and Agbeko. By all accounts, had Mares not fought dirty, the fight would have been considered a draw, and a rematch would have been needed anyways.
