Boxing Odds – Khan Is A Massive Favorite Against Peterson

Intertops betting players who follow boxing will be able to wager on a clash for the WBA Super and IBF Light Welterweight titles (140 pounds), as Amir Khan defends against Lamont Peterson in Washington, D.C.

Khan Peterson Odds – Saturday, December 10th

Khan (26-1, 18 KOs) has an impressive resume at 24 years old as he’s won Olympic silver already and he won the WBA crown at 22. Those at price per head services will tell you that Khan is very fast, he has a better chin than you think (which he proved in a war with Marcos Maidana) and he is starting to gain some traction in the United States as Khan is reaching his prime.

Peterson (29-1-1, 15 KOs) fought Victor Ortiz to a draw last December and then beat Victor Cayo to earn this shot, and while he isn’t as fast as Khan, he’s faster than most at 140 pounds. He is a tough customer who is very deliberate, and this will be the biggest fight of his career after his loss to Timothy Bradley, who is battling with Khan for the No.1 spot in this division. Peterson did well against Bradley, but still lost in a decision.

Khan is favored at -1100, while Peterson is rated at +700 and he has to find another gear to beat Khan, who has yet to find his best and there are fears that Peterson has maxed out at 27 years old. He’ll be competitive, but you have to take the champion, Amir Khan, at your best online sportsbook.
