Boxing Betting – Mayweather Makes Mockery Of Mosley

Boxing betting fans have had just about enough of seeing Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquaio fight other people, and after Pacqaiuo thumped Josh Clottey in March, Mayweather did the same, perhaps more impressively, against Shame Mosley last week.

Let's get one thing clear: Shane Mosley is still one of the best welterweights in the world, and he had his shot to take Mayweather down in the second round, when he landed with a couple of right hands that definitely staggered Mayweather, who was a big favorite in this contest. But Mosley failed to push Mayweather, and after that, it was all "Money". Mayweather and his corner made the adjustments that were needed, and he proceeded to take every round for the rest of the fight, a few in convincing fashion. Later in the fight, in the eighth and ninth rounds, you could see that Mayweather was talking to Mosley before ducking his shots and hitting "Sugar Shane" on the counterattack, and Mosley finally started to look his age of 38 years old. For the first time in a long time, Mosley looked dejected, and stopped throwing as many punches as he usually does as he looked for the one big shot. Mayweather use that as bait, and rolled to a unanimous decision.

Mayweather proved that there is only really himself and Pacquaio at welterweight, and the two need to stop dancing with the drug-testing problem. This should begin yet another round of negotiations in what would easily be the biggest PPV fight of all time, and if they set it up, the betting odds for this match will be anybody's guess after watching Mayweather destroy Mosley.
